Python Script for Real-Time Smart Contract Event Listener

We are looking for a backend developer to build a lightweight, asynchronous Python script using Web3.py to listen to live state changes on a specific smart contract address. The script should trigger a local notification or log output immediately when a specific contract event occurs. Key Responsibilities Set up a clean Web3 connection using a public RPC endpoint or WebSockets. Write an async event loop that polls or listens for target contract events in real time. Deliver clean, well-commented code that can be easily integrated into a larger data pipeline later. Required Expertise Good experience with Python development (Asyncio). Basic understanding of Web3.py and blockchain smart contract events.
