React + Supabase Developer to Finish Core Features on a Live Social Networking Platform

We run a live, production social/professional networking platform (React + Vite frontend, Supabase/Postgres backend, hosted on Vercel). Most core features are built and working. We need a developer to close out remaining production items and rebuild the UI to a new design direction, ahead of a pilot launch. Scope of work (full technical spec and design sketch shared with shortlisted candidates after signing an NDA): - Rebuild the UI to match a new design direction (sketch provided) — must be implemented through shared/reusable components, not per-screen one-off edits - Convert an in-memory feature to persistent database storage - Finalize a request/accept-style relationship model that is already partially built - Complete pending database-level security test cases (Row-Level Security policies must be proven, not just applied) - QA pass with test accounts across multiple user roles - Support onboarding a real customer's data at launch Requirements: - Strong React frontend skills — comfortable rebuilding UI around a shared component system, not duplicating logic across screens - Strong Postgres/Supabase experience, specifically Row-Level Security (RLS) policies enforced at the database layer, not just app-level checks - Comfortable working from detailed written session briefs, following a discovery → implement → verify workflow - Will be required to sign an NDA before receiving full technical specs, design sketch, credentials, or codebase access This is not a good fit if you're newer to Supabase/RLS, or if you tend toward quick per-screen fixes rather than building reusable component systems — the remaining scope is well-defined and security-critical, and the UI rebuild needs to hold together architecturally, not just visually.
