Youll be stepping into the drivers seat of a live production CRM/operations app a React/TypeScript front end with a Supabase back end that has real users interacting with it every single day. This isnt a greenfield project where you can afford to break things. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your engineering judgment will be the difference between a smooth user experience and a production firefight. If youre the kind of developer who gets a rush from finding the needle in the haystack and keeping the lights on, this is for you. Our Workflow: we use AI-assisted tools (Lovable, v0, Cursor) to move fast and ship in tight sprints. But I need a partner who sees beyond the AI-generated code. I need someone who reads the Supabase logs, understands the raw PostgreSQL, and can diagnose the root cause before writing a single line of code. What Youll Be Doing You wont just be writing code; youll be the guardian of a live system. Be the Fixer: Debug and resolve issues across the full stack (React/TypeScript + Supabase) in a live environment. Master the Database: Write, review, and reason about PostgreSQL schema, migrations, and Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Youll know exactly why a policy works, not just that it does. Build and Troubleshoot: Work with and troubleshoot Supabase Edge Functions, auth, and storage. Translate Vision into Code: Turn plain-language requirements into clean, scoped, testable changes. Operate with Surgical Precision: Work additively existing functionality is sacred. You never touch existing policies or schema without explicit scope. Test Like Your Reputation Depends On It: Because it does. You rigorously test before calling anything done. Who You Are Youre a seasoned engineer with a deep understanding of the tools you use. You live in the React/TypeScript world. Youre not just comfortable; youre proficient. You know Supabase inside and out. You have real experience with RLS, Edge Functions, Auth, and Storage. (We can tell the difference between skimmed the docs and built something substantial.) PostgreSQL is your second language. You can write an RLS policy by hand and explain its logic to a junior dev. You thrive in a fast, AI-assisted environment. Youre either already using tools like Cursor, Lovable, or Bolt, or youre eager to learn. You communicate with clarity. You explain root cause in plain language, not just paste a fix. You have discipline around live production. You understand why you re-test after every deploy. Bonus Points If You: Have experience with third-party API/webhook integrations (CRM, telephony, accounting). Have survived on apps without a staging environment.
