WordPress Developer Needed: Install, Update Legacy Theme, & Optimize Scroll Performance

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to install, update, and optimize a specific theme/template for our website. Installation & Setup: Properly install and configure the theme on our WordPress environment. 2. Performance Optimization (Scroll Stutter): Diagnose and fix a known scrolling stutter issue on the template to ensure a 100% smooth, fluid user experience across all modern desktop and mobile browsers. 3. Legacy Code & Security Updates: The core codebase hasn't been updated since 2022. You will be responsible for reviewing the code, refactoring any outdated or deprecated functions, ensuring compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and PHP (8.x), and patching any potential security vulnerabilities. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the theme is 100% stable, responsive, and working flawlessly. Required Qualifications: • Strong expertise in WordPress theme development, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. • Proven experience optimizing web performance (specifically fixing scroll lag, layout shifts, or heavy JS execution). • Experience updating legacy themes and ensuring modern security standards. • Attention to detail and clean coding practices.
