AI Automation & Systems Integration Expert (Make.com, AI, Simpro, Zoho, Pylon)

We are a fast-growing Australian solar and electrical company looking for an experienced AI and automation specialist to help build an intelligent, highly automated business. Our goal is to eliminate repetitive admin, improve customer experience, and connect all of our systems into one seamless workflow using AI and automation. This is not a one-off project. We're looking for a long-term partner who can help us continually improve our processes and implement new ideas. Current Software Simpro Zoho CRM Pylon (Solar proposals) Google Workspace Gmail Google Calendar Xero Make.com OpenAI / ChatGPT Website (WordPress) What We Want to Build We're looking for someone who can design and implement AI-powered workflows including: Lead capture and qualification Automatic CRM updates Proposal generation Quote follow-up sequences Customer communication AI email drafting Job scheduling automation Sales pipeline automation Installation workflow automation Compliance document generation Invoice and payment reminders Internal team notifications Reporting dashboards AI assistants for sales, operations and administration We also want to explore voice AI, AI agents, and customer self-service tools. Responsibilities Design automation architecture. Build workflows using Make.com (or recommend better alternatives). Integrate APIs across all platforms. Build AI-powered assistants using OpenAI. Improve existing workflows. Reduce manual administration. Document every automation built. Provide recommendations for future improvements. AI reviews incoming emails and categorises, prioritises, and drafts responses. Proposal accepted in Pylon automatically creates a Simpro job, schedules tasks, orders stock, and sends customer onboarding emails. AI analyses sales performance and produces weekly reports with recommendations. Automatically chase outstanding quotes and identify the highest-priority opportunities. AI assistant that answers internal staff questions using company documentation and procedures.
