Full Stack Developer - Long-Term Freelance Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our pool of trusted freelancers for ongoing development, maintenance, and new feature implementation. This is a long-term freelance opportunity where projects will be assigned as business needs arise. Core Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications. 2. Develop responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. 3. Develop and maintain server-side logic using programming languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or Ruby. 4. Integrate front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless communication and functionality. 5. Manage databases, design efficient database schemas, create seeders, and optimise SQL queries. 6. Develop or integrate CMS functionality with existing backend systems. 7. Integrate third-party APIs and services, including CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM. 8. Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code. 9. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. 10. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and performance. 11. Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and usability. 12. Implement security measures and optimise application performance, SEO, metadata, and AI indexing. 13. Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and manage applications in cloud or on-premises environments. 14. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, performance, and data integrity. 15. Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces. 16. Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. 17. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and apply them to improve development processes and application performance. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 2. At least 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role 3. Strong proficiency in Front-end Languages & Technologies Javascript and Nextjs 14 Things to take into consideration: - Experience using the App Router in Next.js - Experience implementing localisation is a plus - Ability to integrate and consume APIs within Next.js applications - Proficient in Git version control. - Knowledge of frontend performance optimisation. - Experience developing or structuring dashboard interfaces. 4. Strong proficiency in Back-end Languages & Technologies PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and Basic Linux Things to take into consideration: - Strong understanding of authentication and authorisation. - Experience developing REST APIs. - Experience integrating third-party services (e.g. Zoho CRM, Mailchimp, or similar platforms). - Proficient in Git version control. - Experience deploying Laravel applications on Linux servers or VPS environments. 5. Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) 6. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus 7.
