Full-Stack Developer Needed – Build an AI-Powered School Bus Routing MVP

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to build a cloud-based Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for an AI-powered School Bus Scheduling, Routing & Rostering Platform for a U.S. school district. This is a milestone-based project focused on rapidly developing a proof of concept that demonstrates the platform's core capabilities. Technical Requirements The MVP should include: Cloud-based SaaS architecture Automated school bus route optimization Bus stop management GIS-based route visualization (Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar) GPS integration Calendar-aware scheduling OneRoster 1.0 (CSV) integration REST APIs for external integrations Responsive web application PostgreSQL (or equivalent) backend Clean, scalable, well-documented code Preferred Skills React, Angular, or Vue.js Node.js, .NET, Python, or Java backend PostgreSQL GIS mapping libraries Route optimization algorithms REST API development Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience building SaaS products AI-assisted software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT Project Structure The MVP will be developed over four milestones, each delivering approximately two core features. Milestone 1: $250 Milestone 2: $250 Milestone 3: $250 Milestone 4: $250 Total Project Budget: $1,000 Requirements may evolve during the discovery phase with the client, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working iteratively and providing technical input.
