Full-Stack Developer (Next.js + Airtable API) for Cultural Wedding Marketplace MVP

About the Project: We are launching the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for a niche wedding marketplace in Germany focused on cultural weddings (similar to the concept of Dugun.com). The platform will connect couples with wedding vendors (venues, caterers, photographers, etc.) who accommodate specific cultural needs (e.g., high guest capacity, external catering, specific entertainment requirements). The Tech Stack: To ensure a lean, fast, and SEO-friendly launch, we have decided on the following architecture: Frontend: Next.js (React) – crucial for fast loading speeds and great programmatic SEO.Backend / Database: Airtable (via API) – to act as our initial database and admin interface for quick data management. Key Features for the MVP: 1. Dynamic Vendor Directory: A clean UI to browse vendors with advanced filtering capabilities (e.g., location, capacity, specific cultural tags). 2. Inquiry / Lead Management: A system allowing couples to send direct inquiries to vendors, with data seamlessly syncing into Airtable. 3. User Dashboards: Simple, interactive dashboards for couples (to track their shortlist/inquiries) and a basic interface or notification system for vendors. 4. SEO Optimization: The Next.js setup must utilize Static Generation (SSG/ISR) so that vendor profiles rank well on Google. What we are looking for in a Developer: - Proven experience with Next.js and modern React. - Deep understanding of connecting frontend systems to Airtable via API (handling rate limits, caching, and data syncing). - Strong eye for clean, responsive UI/UX (Tailwind CSS or similar). - Reliable communication and structured coding practices.
