Job Title: Senior Custom WordPress Developer - Healthcare Website Rebuild (ACF, Multilingual & GTM) Project Overview We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack WordPress Developer to build a custom, high-performance website for an international private healthcare practice. You will translate an approved Lovable prototype into a lightweight, custom-coded WordPress theme. Important: Strictly NO page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.). We require clean, custom PHP/HTML/CSS code following WordPress coding standards. Must-Have Tool & Tech Stack Expertise * Core WordPress: Custom Theme Development (PHP 8.x, HTML5, CSS3, ES6+ JavaScript) * CMS Architecture: Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro) & Custom Post Types * Design Tools: Lovable (translating prototype code/layouts into responsive WP code) * Multilingual: WPML or Polylang (English & Chinese setup with hreflang tags) * Analytics & Tracking: Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, and Google Ads Conversion Tracking (specifically tracking events inside embedded booking iFrames) * SEO Plugins: Rank Math or Yoast SEO (301 redirects, XML sitemaps, metadata mapping) * Performance & Core Web Vitals Optimization: Asset minification, lazy loading, lightweight CSS/JS execution, and meeting Google Core Web Vitals standards. Key Responsibilities * Modular Back-End: Build a "single source of truth" setup using ACF Pro so updating a doctor's profile or schedule in one place dynamically updates all connected service pages across the site. * Prototype Translation: Build responsive, pixel-perfect pages based on the approved Lovable designs. * iFrame & Conversion Tracking: Set up GTM and GA4 tracking to fire Google Ads conversions when a patient completes a booking inside an embedded third-party iFrame. * Gated Patient Area: Create a secure, password-protected patient portal hidden from public search engines (noindex, sitemap exclusions). * SEO Migration: Map 301 redirects and carry over existing metadata to protect current search rankings. * Accessibility Best Practices: Building semantic HTML structure, keyboard navigation, focus states, and ARIA attributes aiming for WCAG 2.2 AA standards. * Deployment & Migration: Setting up a local/staging environment, migrating the final build to the client's live production hosting platform with minimal downtime, and transferring all admin credentials.
