Senior Full-Stack / Trading Infrastructure Developer We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer with strong backend architecture experience (preferably in fintech, trading systems, distributed systems, or low-latency applications). Our platform is built using Claude Code with Vercel as our deployment platform. The backend powers an automated futures execution system that places trades across multiple supported futures brokers. The platform is already live and functional, but we are looking for someone to audit, improve, and continue building the system. Current System Our execution engine currently: Receives approved trade signals Places market entries across multiple futures brokers Places Stop Loss orders Places Take Profit 1 Places Take Profit 2 Uses correct contract sizing on initial execution Tracks execution throughout the trade lifecycle The core execution logic already works. ⸻ Project 1 — Execution Engine Improvements There are several pieces of trade lifecycle management that still need to be completed. Break-Even Logic After Take Profit 1 is filled: Detect the TP1 fill event Move the Stop Loss to the original entry price (Break Even) Ensure this happens only once Handle partial fills correctly Make the process idempotent so duplicate broker events cannot create issues Position Size Management After TP1 executes: Update the remaining position size correctly Ensure stop orders reflect the remaining open contracts Verify broker state matches internal state Handle reconciliation if discrepancies occur Trade Resolution When a trade has fully completed (TP2, Stop Loss, manual close, etc.): Cancel all remaining working limit orders Cancel any remaining stop orders Cleanly mark the trade as resolved Prevent orphaned orders Verify the broker account is completely flat We are looking for someone experienced with execution engines—not simply REST APIs. ⸻ Project 2 — Subscriber Management & Platform UI Our current customer management system works but needs significant improvement. Goals include: Better subscriber tracking Cleaner customer lifecycle management Better subscription status handling Improved account management More professional admin tools Additionally, we want the UI/UX improved throughout the platform. Current issues: Some pages feel inconsistent Certain interfaces look AI-generated rather than professionally designed Better spacing, typography, hierarchy, and overall polish Improved dashboard experience More consistent design system across the application The goal is for the product to feel like enterprise software rather than an MVP. ⸻ Project 3 — Backend Security Audit We would like a complete security review of the platform. This includes: Authentication review Authorization / permissions API security Secret management Database security Role-based access controls Server-side validation Rate limiting Injection vulnerabilities Dependency review Production configuration review Infrastructure best practices We’re looking for recommendations as well as implementation of critical improvements. ⸻ Project 4 — Databento Integration We are planning to significantly expand our market data infrastructure using Databento. This project will involve designing and implementing a scalable architecture around Databento’s APIs. Potential responsibilities include: Historical market data ingestion Live market data streaming Efficient data storage Data normalization Feature generation Analytics infrastructure Integration into our existing trading pipeline Support for future quantitative research and strategy development Experience with market data providers such as Databento, Polygon, dxFeed, CQG, Rithmic, CME market data, or similar is highly preferred. ⸻ Ideal Experience We’re looking for someone with experience in: Trading systems Algorithmic trading Multi-broker execution engines Low-latency backend systems TypeScript / Node.js Vercel PostgreSQL / Supabase Real-time event processing Distributed systems Production-grade software architecture Experience with futures trading infrastructure is a major advantage.
