WordPress Backend Developer Needed for Advanced Plugin Work, APIs, GitHub and React

I’m looking for a strong WordPress backend developer to help with ongoing plugin development work. This is not basic website building. The work is mostly backend focused and includes custom plugin features, database logic, REST APIs, third party integrations, GitHub tasks, and sometimes React-based admin interfaces. You should be comfortable working inside an existing codebase, following WordPress coding standards, and writing clean PHP code that other developers can maintain. What you’ll work on: Building and improving custom WordPress plugin features Creating and maintaining REST API endpoints Working with third party APIs and integrations Fixing bugs and improving existing code Handling GitHub issues, branches, pull requests, and code reviews Writing clean, structured PHP code Working with WordPress hooks, filters, CPTs, metadata, options, and custom database tables Building or updating React components for WordPress admin screens when needed Using WordPress packages like @wordpress/components, @wordpress/data, and @wordpress/api-fetch Required experience: Strong WordPress plugin development experience Advanced PHP and OOP skills Good understanding of WordPress coding standards Experience with REST APIs and external integrations Good Git and GitHub workflow React.js experience Ability to read existing code and improve it without breaking things Clear communication and regular updates Nice to have: WooCommerce experience Gutenberg block development TypeScript experience Experience with @wordpress/scripts, Webpack, or Vite Experience working on commercial WordPress plugins Please send examples of WordPress plugin work you have done before.
