Create UX/UI for a wordpress based survey/assessment plugin that enables purchase and payment of licenses, license generation and management, student login and access to survey, progress tracking that is scalable. The assessment generates a report using PDF17. Additionally the project will include messaging module, customized options for clients and students. Currently the assessment and report generation are working. The project entails everything else about license and user management. The wordpress template should look similar to the SquareSpace content site mlippitt.com. I am attaching an AI generated description of the UX/UI process I envision. On that site, my client can create a user account then creates a group and purchase licenses for their students to take the survey/report tool. The website will email the license details to the client including userid generated from the group name and a random password.. The client can have multiple groups each with a different number of licenses. The client can login to a management screen that shows the available groups, lets the client assign names and emails for each license and email that license to the student. The client can also view the completion status of the survey, and resend a user/id password to the student. When a student logs in with their userid/password, they are sent directly to a survey instrument that they fill out. They may save their work or if its complete, they can submit the survey to view the report. The report is generated as a pdf and can be printed or downloaded. Once the report is generated, the survey is no longer accessible. The survey generates a set of 6 scores that are deidentified and saved to an table along with some demographic info. There is a spanish language option that I don't need at present. Multilanguage is a nice-to-have option for the future. The language is hard coded into the PDF17 php module and is not easy to change beyond simple text and image swaps. Replacing the PDF report generator is a future project unless you have an insight into this issue. For now it works. My current dev ported the site to wordpress but retained features from Joomla that make the site unwieldy. We have a good relationship.. Users are created as wordpress users which creates the possibility of hacking. I would prefer all clients and students to be created in a custom table that is not linked to wordpress users. I never liked the automatic user id that is composed of the groupid plus some numbers. I don't like the random letters used for passwords. I would prefer if the students logged in with the master group name and a unique password that is a combination of two english words and a number, maybe a symbol. Something like: IBM / windyspoke43. Essentially the combination of the groupname and password define a unique student. Clients would still need an email/password combo possibly with MFA, as would the super user. Wordpress users would be admin, conner, dan (my IT guy who wrote this for me) and mary, but none more to keep the hacking potential to a minimum. I would like licenses to be transferable between groups pre-use, so that if a client purchases too many or too few for their group, they can manage the license purchase and transfer themselves. The user interface is not intuitive for the clients. There are some new features I would like such as the ability for a client to setup a default 'welcome' message that is also optionally customizable for each group. Clients should be able to send the group an arbitrary message. This is not a comprehensive list but gives you an idea of whats in the document I am attaching. I want to separate the license entity from the group. Currently the license only exists as an item in a group. I would prefer each license to be its own entity with a generated license number. That way a license can be assigned/reassigned to clients, groups and students. There also is a super user role that is reserved for myself. I need to be able to easily create clients, create and assign licenses, and send clients and groups messages. I should be able to setup a default welcome message for new client signup and a default welcome message for new groups that clients can customize. I would like the ability to archive, enable/disable or delete clients, groups, licenses or students. I would like a dashboard of everything going on and whats new or important, as well as a way to view financial transactions. All actions by students, clients and the superuser should leave an audit trail in a viewable log. I am sure that you will have other ideas. Here are the websites you will need.
