We're building a 4-channel coherent 2.4 GHz receiver on an AMD RFSoC 4x2 (ZU48DR) for angle-of-arrival. Looking for an RFSoC/FPGA engineer to own the board side.
Your scope (RFSoC / FPGA only):
* 4 ADC channels, MTS-synchronised + phase-calibrated (coherence is the whole point)
DDC the 2.4 GHz band and stream coherent IQ to our server over 100 GbE
* Then progressively add in-FPGA energy gating, then OFDM/DSSS preamble + FFT frame detection as later phases.
* We do everything server-side (decode + MUSIC bearing) - you just deliver clean, coherent, detected data over the 100 GbE link. Phased build, fixed-price, milestone payments. We provide the board, a server + 100 GbE NIC, and a working Python decoder as a reference. Remote, with a short UK field test at the end.
* you recommend (and we will buy) cables, antennas, antenna mounts etc
3-5 week project, you must be able to complete the initial MTS / phase calibration in 3 weeks from receiving hardware.
You must have appropriate equipment to ensure phase calibration, oscilloscope, VNA, etc
