Shopify Plus Product Enrichment Pipeline — Python + Claude API + Bulk Operations We operate megaofficesupplies.com.au on Shopify Plus with 28,000 active products recently migrated from BigCommerce. We need a Python developer to build an automated enrichment pipeline that: Reads a product CSV and fetches current Shopify data via bulk query Scrapes supplier websites for product specifications Sends each product to Anthropic Claude API for AI-powered content enrichment (descriptions, SEO, metafields, tags, alt text) Writes all enriched data back to Shopify Plus via the Bulk Operations API (bulkOperationRunMutation) The process, governance rules, prompt templates and field structures are fully designed and proven in production. You are building the automation layer only — not making content decisions. Target throughput: 2,000-5,000 products per hour. Full 28,000 products in a single weekend run. You must have experience with Shopify Plus Bulk Operations API. Applications without specific reference to bulkOperationRunMutation will not be shortlisted. Full brief attached.
