WordPress/WooCommerce Developer Our website is a Melbourne-based mobility and assistive equipment provider with a Cheltenham showroom. We supply adjustable beds, lift recliners, pressure-care products, mobility scooters, and daily-living aids, and are trusted by occupational therapists (OTs), case managers, and Support at Home providers. Our website is built on WordPress, Elementor Pro, and WooCommerce. We are looking for an experienced developer to transform it into a premium, mobile-first catalogue and enquiry platform that serves as a valuable resource for occupational therapists while generating qualified enquiries and showroom visits. Important: This is not a traditional e-commerce store. There will be no pricing, checkout, or add-to-cart functionality. The focus is on a seamless catalogue, quote, and trial enquiry experience. What We Provide • Clickable HTML mockups for the homepage, product catalogue, product pages, filtering system, and enquiry forms. • A comprehensive Brand Pack (PDF) with exact colors and typography. • A detailed Developer Build Pack including page specifications, phased scope, and QA requirements. • Product content and WooCommerce import CSV files (initial batches ready, with more to follow). • SEO titles and meta descriptions prepared for Yoast SEO. Please review the supplied mockups and brand pack before submitting your quote. Brand Requirements • Font: Inter (no all-caps, heavy, or condensed styles). • Color Palette: - Warm Taupe #9B8F87 - Warm Ivory #F7F5F2 - Light Warm Grey #EDEAE6 - Charcoal #2F2F2F - Deep Charcoal #1F1F1F • No blue, green, orange, red, pure white, or highly saturated colors. • The design must feel warm, calm, residential, and professional rather than clinical or overly sales-focused. Project Scope Phase 1 – Product Pages & Catalogue • Build custom WooCommerce product page templates based on supplied designs. • Create product cards and catalogue layouts. • Import products via CSV with correct categories and cross-listing. • Configure WooCommerce as a quote/enquiry system (no pricing, cart, or stock messaging). • Implement Yoast SEO titles, meta descriptions, and clean URL structures. Phase 2 – Filtering, Search & Smart Enquiry Forms • Implement faceted filtering and search functionality. • Filter by category, funding scheme (NDIS, DVA, Home Care Package, Support at Home, SWEP), pressure-injury risk, weight capacity/SWL, size, and product features. • Build smart enquiry forms using Fluent Forms or Gravity Forms. • Automatically pass product name and page URL into every enquiry submission. • Capture enquiry type, role, organisation, email, phone, suburb, funding type, notes, and optional file uploads. • Implement site-wide trust and conversion components. Phase 3 – Homepage, OT Hub & Final Optimisation • Build the homepage based on supplied mockups. • Create Occupational Therapist resource hub pages. • Build funding information pages for NDIS, DVA, Home Care Package, Support at Home, and SWEP. • Create downloads and resources sections. • Complete performance optimisation, accessibility improvements, mobile testing, SEO enhancements, schema implementation, and final QA. Technical Requirements • Strong experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor Pro, and custom template development. • Experience implementing faceted filtering solutions such as FacetWP. • Advanced form development with dynamic field population using Fluent Forms or Gravity Forms. • Mobile-first development approach. • Strong Core Web Vitals and performance optimisation experience. • Familiarity with WCAG AA accessibility standards. • Experience with Yoast SEO and Product/Review schema implementation. • All development must be completed on a staging environment with backups. No direct edits to the live website. Nice to Have • Experience working with healthcare, aged-care, mobility, or assistive technology businesses. • Experience with Australian WooCommerce projects. • Strong understanding of minimalist, conversion-focused UX design.
