We're building an AI-driven bidding application for our advertising operations platform, and need an experienced contractor to design and implement the core bidding engine and its integrations.
What you'll work on:
- Integrate with the Beeswax DSP API (bid requests/responses, campaign and line-item management, reporting endpoints)
- Build and maintain data pipelines in Databricks (ingestion, feature engineering, model training/serving) to power bidding decisions
- Develop AI/ML models for real-time bid optimization (pacing, pricing, performance prediction)
- Integrate bidding logic and outputs with our internal "Optimize" product
- Collaborate with our internal data and product teams; document architecture and decisions clearly
Ideal experience:
- Hands-on experience with Beeswax (or comparable DSP - The Trade Desk, MediaMath, DV360) API/bidder development
- Strong Databricks experience: PySpark pipelines, Delta Lake, ML model training/deployment
- Background in ad-tech / programmatic / RTB bid optimization (pacing algorithms, bid shading, performance prediction models)
- General AI/ML and LLM agent application development experience is a plus
- Comfortable working independently, strong written communication (we're a distributed team)
Engagement details:
- Initial 1-2 month build, with potential to extend based on results
- Remote, flexible hours with some overlap with US Eastern time preferred
