Hi Herman, We are looking for an experienced React/React Native developer to take over and further develop our existing fitness video application, the GIBBON Balance App, which is already available on both iOS and Android. Current Tech Stack - Frontend: React Native (single codebase for iOS & Android) - Backend: Already developed and operational - User Authentication: Existing login and account system - Video Streaming: Existing exercise video library - CRM Integrations: HubSpot and Klaviyo integrations already implemented - Gamification System: Balance Points, achievements, badges, and user progress tracking - Mobile Apps: Published and live in the App Store and Google Play Store You can already download and test the application: GIBBON Balance App Immediate Priority Our most urgent requirement is implementing a fully user-manageable CMS. At the moment, content updates require developer intervention, which is not scalable for our content team. CMS Requirements The CMS should allow non-technical staff to manage: - Exercise videos - Video metadata - Titles - Descriptions - Categories - Difficulty levels - Duration - Equipment requirements - Challenges - Programs and training plans - Achievement content - FAQ and guide content - Push notification content - Localization/translations - Featured content on the home screen - Content ordering and visibility Additional Development Tasks Potential future work includes: - Performance optimization - App Store and Play Store maintenance - Analytics improvements - Additional gamification features - QR-code based onboarding flows - CRM improvements - User profile enhancements - Subscription and monetization features - Video proof submissions - AI-assisted content recommendations What We Need From You - Review the existing codebase and architecture - Assess code quality and maintainability - Recommend the best CMS solution based on the current backend architecture - Provide an estimate for implementation effort - Potentially become our long-term development partner Experience We're Looking For - Strong React Native experience - Experience working with existing production applications - Backend/API integration experience - CMS architecture and implementation experience - Experience publishing and maintaining iOS and Android apps - Strong communication and documentation skills If this sounds interesting, I would be happy to schedule a call and provide access to the app, backend documentation, and codebase for your assessment.
