Backend Developer, Part time

We’re looking for a Backend Developer with deep expertise in n8n to design, build, and maintain scalable workflow automations and intelligent chatbot systems. Ideal candidate must also be well versed in Javascript, and Python. In this role, you’ll develop backend services, integrate APIs, and create automated solutions that power conversational bots, internal tools and serve as a backup to our main dev. MUST be able to work within a team setting as well as independently. If you need hand holding or help figuring out what task to work on next, this role is not for you. !!!*NO agencies*!!! Responsibilities Design and implement complex n8n workflows and automation pipelines Develop and maintain backend services and API integrations Build and optimize AI-driven chatbots and conversational automation Connect third-party platforms (CRMs, messaging platforms, databases, etc.) Troubleshoot, optimize, and scale automation systems Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable backend solutions ---*Requirements*--- NO EXCEPTIONS Strong experience with n8n workflow automation (advanced node usage, custom nodes, integrations) Solid backend development experience (Node.js/JavaScript/React) Solid Python foundation Experience building or integrating chatbots / conversational AI systems Strong API design and integration skills (REST, webhooks, OAuth) Familiarity with databases, cloud services, and scalable backend architecture *Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently* **Availability during US standard business hours, M-F** Response time of 1-2 hours, during standard business hours NO AGENCIES!
