Consumer iOS app where people save photos, videos, and text "thoughts" with close friends in private group spaces, plus a premium subscription tier, with an active, growing user base. We're looking for a Backend Engineer to own backend end to end. Our stack: NestJS/TypeScript with MySQL (via TypeORM), running on AWS (S3, Cognito), with Firebase (push notifications and Apple/Google sign-in), Twilio (SMS auth), Google Vision (image analysis), mobile-facing REST APIs, and subscription/in-app-purchase logic.
