Cloud Security Engineer (AWS / Azure / Kubernetes)

Senior Cloud Security Engineer (AWS / Azure / Kubernetes) We're looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to help strengthen and manage the security of our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, implementing, and improving cloud security controls—not an audit or compliance-only position. What You'll Do Design and implement security controls across AWS and Azure Configure and manage IAM, networking, security groups, and firewall policies Deploy and manage cloud security tools to protect workloads, containers, endpoints, and networks Improve cloud security posture using CSPM and workload protection platforms Secure Kubernetes clusters and container workloads Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) security scanning and help prevent configuration drift Design and manage secrets, key rotation, and secure credential management Apply Zero Trust principles across cloud infrastructure and service-to-service communication Review and improve WAF, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, and firewall policies Automate repetitive security tasks using Python or Bash where appropriate Investigate security issues, recommend improvements, and help harden Linux and Windows systems Must-Have Experience 4+ years of hands-on cloud security experience Strong AWS and/or Azure security experience IAM, VPC/network security, and cloud networking Terraform or CloudFormation Kubernetes/container security Linux administration Python or Bash scripting Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM) Nice to Have Zero Trust architecture SASE / ZTNA PAM / XDR SD-WAN CI/CD security AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, or CCSP certifications What We're Looking For Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently Clear communication Practical, hands-on cloud security experience Someone who enjoys improving security rather than simply maintaining it
