Hi!
I'm looking for a hardware engineer to design a compact IoT controller PCB.
The main idea is to build a low-cost controller based on the Air780E LTE Cat.1 module without using an ESP32 or any other external MCU. The firmware will run directly on the Air780E using LuatOS.
The project requirements are:
Air780E LTE Cat.1 module
Nano SIM card slot
Input power: 5–60V DC
2 relay outputs with dry contacts (NO / COM / NC)
USB Type-C connector for firmware flashing and debugging
External LTE antenna connector (IPEX or SMA)
Power, Network and Relay status LEDs
One additional GPIO-controlled LED for custom application use
The attached image is only a reference for the desired form factor and functionality. It should not be copied directly.
For now, I would like to know:
Is this project feasible?
What would be the estimated cost and timeline?
Have you worked with Air780E or similar LTE/OpenCPU modules before?
If everything goes well, I have several similar hardware projects planned in the future.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
