Full-Stack Developer — Branded Web App with Third-Party AI API Integration

Full-stack developer needed to build V1 of a branded web app that integrates a third-party AI rendering API. We’re a luxury jewellery brand. We want a public-facing, email-gated web app, embeddable on our website, that lets visitors design custom jewellery concepts. Before designing, the visitor enters their name, email, and contact number (this builds our customer database — a core goal of the project). The app then captures their design brief, calls a third-party AI rendering API behind the scenes, displays the results in our branded interface, and lets them refine and save concepts. On saving, the app emails the visitor a private link back to their design so they can return to it later. This is a well-defined V1 — clean, well-architected, and handover-ready matters more than large scope. No full user-account/login system in V1 (email gate only). What you’ll build: • A branded, mobile-friendly web app, embeddable on our website • An email-gate step at entry capturing name, email, and contact number into our database before the design experience begins • A conversational intake (text input, guided questions, image upload) • Integration with a third-party AI image/3D rendering API (we’ll provide the chosen vendor) • A results gallery with plain-language iteration (regenerate with changes) • A save feature that emails the visitor a private link to return to their saved design • A “request this design” step that flags a lead as a hot enquiry for our team • A database — owned and fully exportable by us — that logs every contact, brief, edit, selection, saved design, and outcome • Basic privacy/consent handling at the email-gate step Required skills: • React / Next.js (or similar) front end • Backend + database experience (data must be owned by us and exportable) • Proven experience integrating third-party REST APIs into a web app • Transactional email integration (e.g. SendGrid, Postmark, or similar) • Clean, documented, handover-ready code Nice to have: e-commerce or SaaS experience; a portfolio with premium/luxury or design-led work. Important terms: • All code, prompts, and work product are the property of our company (IP-assignment / work-for-hire agreement required before work begins) • Full source code and documentation handed over on completion Budget: $2,500 fixed price for V1.
