Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to build an MVP of an AI-powered Content Planner SaaS. The application will help content creators, marketers, and small businesses organize content ideas, generate AI-assisted titles, and manage a publishing calendar from a modern, responsive dashboard.
The project must be built using React, Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. The code should follow clean architecture principles, be well-structured, scalable, and easy to maintain.
Project Scope
The application should include secure user authentication with registration, login, logout, protected routes, and profile management. Users should be able to update their personal information and change their password.
After signing in, users will access a dashboard displaying useful statistics such as the total number of projects, content ideas, scheduled posts, draft posts, and published posts. The dashboard should provide a clean overview of their content planning activity.
Users should be able to create and manage multiple projects to organize their content. Each project should support creating, editing, deleting, archiving, searching, and filtering.
Within each project, users should manage content ideas. Every content idea should include a title, description, target platform (such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, or Blog), category, target audience, publishing status, scheduled publishing date, and optional notes. Users should be able to create, edit, duplicate, delete, search, sort, and filter content ideas.
The application should include an AI-powered title generator. Users can provide a topic, audience, and preferred writing tone, and the system should generate several suggested titles. If an AI service is not integrated, a mock implementation with realistic sample responses is acceptable for this MVP.
A calendar view should allow users to visualize scheduled content by date. Users should be able to assign publishing dates to content ideas and easily view upcoming scheduled posts. A drag-and-drop calendar is optional but considered a bonus feature.
The system should support tags to help organize content. Users should be able to create custom tags, assign multiple tags to content ideas, and filter content using those tags.
The application should use a relational PostgreSQL database with appropriate relationships between users, projects, content ideas, tags, and scheduled content. Database design should follow best practices and include proper indexing where appropriate.
The backend should be developed using NestJS with TypeScript and Prisma ORM. The application should include secure JWT authentication, request validation, centralized error handling, pagination, filtering, searching, and clean service-based architecture.
The frontend should be developed using React and Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. The interface should be fully responsive and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Forms should include proper validation and provide a smooth user experience.
