Full Stack Developer (Front End Heavy) — 6-Month Contract (Remote) **Location:** Remote (Must work M–F, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST) **Duration:** 6 months (fixed-term contract, potential to convert based on performance and business need) **Reports To:** Director of Technical Delivery & Product Designer **Employment Type:** Full-time contractor **About Pandesco** Pandesco is a boutique Managed Service Provider (MSP) and SaaS technology creator headquartered in Austin, Texas, delivering innovative IT and cloud solutions to specialty, luxury retail, and consumer products clients. We build proprietary software and deliver managed services that help our clients modernize, operate efficiently, and grow. **The Role** We're looking for a Full Stack Developer with heavy front end experience to join our product team on a 6-month contract. Your primary focus will be turning Figma designs into high-quality, responsive React + TypeScript interfaces — desktop and mobile — across our SaaS products, working closely with our Product Designer. You'll also be expected to pick up backend and API work on our C#/.NET stack when front end demand is lighter, so we need someone genuinely full stack, not a front end specialist who's dabbled in backend. **Our AI Philosophy** Pandesco is an AI-forward company — operationally, not aspirationally. We believe AI makes smart people more efficient: it increases velocity, automates the routine, and frees engineers to solve harder problems. We also believe it makes undisciplined people less effective. We hire for the former. Every role at Pandesco is expected to use AI tools actively and intelligently. Resistance to AI-assisted workflows is an explicit non-fit. Reliance on AI as a substitute for talent and due diligence is also a non-fit. **Key Responsibilities** *Frontend Development (Primary Focus)* - Work directly with our Product Designer to translate Figma designs into responsive, functional UI components in React 19 and TypeScript — desktop and mobile. - Build clean, well-structured HTML and CSS that holds up across breakpoints, browsers, and real-world data. - Contribute to new product development and improve existing UI implementations. *Backend & Full Stack Work (As Needed)* - Contribute to backend services and APIs in C# ASP.NET Core / .NET 8 and GraphQL when reassigned across projects. - Work within existing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) without owning pipeline configuration. - Support integration work involving Azure Container Apps, Dapr, KEDA, or Azure Service Bus as needed — training provided where gaps exist. *Design System & Component Library* - Help build out and maintain Pandesco's internal component library and design system. - Work directly with the Designer on guidelines, patterns, tokens, and reusable components. - Contribute to data visualization patterns and conventions. *Workflow & Collaboration* - Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and sprints via Azure DevOps — pull requests, work item tracking, and pipelines. - Collaborate with in-office and remote team members throughout the week, including daily communication in English. - Use AI-assisted development tools (including Claude Code) as part of daily workflow to increase velocity without sacrificing craft. **Required Qualifications** - 2–4+ years of hands-on professional experience with React and TypeScript. - Strong foundation in HTML and CSS, including responsive design across breakpoints. - Working professional experience with at least one backend language/framework (C#/.NET strongly preferred; will consider strong analogous experience). - Proven experience developing UI for both desktop and mobile in a production environment. - Experience collaborating with designers in Figma — reading and implementing from design files and specs. - Solid Git and version control workflow experience. - Experience with Azure DevOps — pull requests, work item tracking, and pipelines. - **Excellent English fluency, written and spoken, required. Must be stated explicitly on CV/resume.** - AI-forward mindset: demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools in real projects. - Reliable remote work setup and discipline to work core hours M–F, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST. **Preferred Qualifications** - Direct experience with C# ASP.NET Core, .NET 8, and GraphQL. - Experience with Azure Container Apps, Dapr, KEDA, or Azure Service Bus. - Experience building or contributing to a component library or design system. - Experience with data visualization work. - Working fluency with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools. - Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design best practices. **Who You Are** - A builder who cares about craft and sweats the small stuff in UI, but is equally comfortable dropping into backend or API work when a project needs it. - Curious about how design becomes code, and confident enough to push back when something won't work. - Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while staying tightly coordinated with the team. **What You'll Get** - Real-world experience on live SaaS products used by clients across the US. - Direct collaboration with the Director of Technical Delivery and Product Designer. - Exposure to a modern React 19 / TypeScript / C# / .NET / Azure stack and AI-assisted development practices. - Potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business need
