Full Time Claude Code Developer (Full-Stack, Next.js + FastAPI + MySQL)

We sell engine mounts, transmission mounts, and air suspension to distributors and warehouse distributors — not to consumers. We built our own custom B2B e-commerce and operations platform (Next.js frontend, Python FastAPI backend, MySQL on AWS) and need a full-time developer working directly under our lead developer/owner. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE: You must work in Claude Code (Anthropic's agentic coding CLI) as your primary development tool, every day. Our entire workflow is built around it — CLAUDE.md project files, skills, subagents, parallel agent execution. If you have never used Claude Code, do not apply. ---- What you'll work on: Our custom admin platform: orders, shipping hub, support ticket system, wholesale rep portal, disputes, returns Deploying and maintaining our AI support systems (AI email agent, live chat agent with tool calling) Catalog tooling: ACES/PIES data pipelines, programmatic SEO pages (140K+ URLs), sitemaps Performance work (Core Web Vitals), bug fixes, new features shipped weekly Deployments to AWS (EC2, RDS, systemd services, nginx) Required: Claude Code used daily on real projects — you will demo this live on a screen-share interview through Upwork Next.js / React / TypeScript and Python (FastAPI or similar) MySQL: schema design, query optimization Git workflow, comfortable deploying to Linux servers Overlap at least 4 hours/day with US Eastern Time Strong written English — you'll write commit messages, PR notes, and daily EOD summaries Nice to have: Automotive aftermarket / ACES-PIES experience Stripe/PayPal integrations, SendGrid, Shippo or shipping APIs Playwright testing
