We need an expert to complete a short technical audit of our Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager conversion tracking setup.
This is audit-only. We are not looking for PPC campaign management or ad strategy at this stage.
Our website setup:
WordPress / Elementor pages
Custom PHP price quote, sample request, and order forms
Google Ads
GA4
Google Tag Manager
Possible duplicate tracking from a prior GTM setup
Possible historical tracking pollution from a copied/stolen version of our site using our tag
We need to verify whether Google Ads conversion data is accurate before making PPC decisions.
Scope
Please audit the current setup and confirm:
Which GTM container is installed on the website.
Whether multiple GTM containers or duplicate scripts are installed.
Whether GA4 or Google Ads tags are installed both through GTM and directly on the site.
Whether any conversion events are firing twice.
Which Google Ads conversion actions are primary vs. secondary.
Whether Google Ads is optimizing for the correct conversion actions.
Whether weak actions, such as page views, clicks, or generic engagement events, are being counted as primary conversions.
Whether key business actions are tracked correctly, including:
Price quote submission
Sample request submission
Order form start
Order completed / payment completed
Phone call or contact action, if applicable
Whether non-approved domains are sending data into GA4, GTM, or Google Ads.
Whether conversion values are set correctly, if used.
Deliverable
1. Please include a simple tracking map table showing:

2. Please provide a short written report with:
What is currently installed
What is duplicated, missing, broken, or unclear

Screenshots showing the issues where possible
Clear instructions for our developer if code/page changes are needed

Can we trust the Google Ads conversion data? If not, what exactly needs to be fixed?
Budget: $300 fixed price for audit only.
If the setup is more complex than expected, please identify that in the audit. Follow-up implementation can be quoted separately after the audit is complete.
