IoT Developer Needed — LoRaWAN & Cellular-Connected Devices

We are looking for an experienced IoT developer to help design, build, test, and support connected device solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with LoRaWAN-based devices and networks, as well as experience working with cellular-connected IoT devices using LTE-M, NB-IoT or similar technologies. This role may involve firmware development, device integration, connectivity troubleshooting, backend integration with MQTT server, sensor data handling, and deployment support. We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and help us make practical technical decisions. Responsibilities may include: - Develop, debug, and optimize firmware for IoT devices - Work with LoRaWAN modules, gateways, network servers, and device provisioning - Configure and troubleshoot LoRaWAN connectivity, payload decoding, uplinks/downlinks, and device activation - Support cellular IoT connectivity, including modem configuration, SIM/eSIM setup, MQTT/HTTP communication, and power optimization - Integrate sensors, microcontrollers, and communication modules - Help design reliable low-power device architectures - Connect devices to cloud platforms or dashboards - Assist with testing, diagnostics, and documentation - Recommend hardware, modules, development boards, and connectivity approaches when needed Required experience: - Proven experience developing IoT products or prototypes - Strong experience with LoRaWAN Experience with cellular-connected IoT devices, such as LTE-M / LTE Cat-M1, NB-IoT or similar - Experience with embedded development using C, C++, MicroPython, Python, or similar - Familiarity with protocols such as MQTT - Experience with microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, Nordic, Arduino-compatible boards, Raspberry Pi, or similar - Ability to read datasheets, debug hardware/software issues, and work with development kits - Good written communication and ability to document technical work Nice to have: - Experience with AWS IoT - Experience with GPS/GNSS, environmental sensors, asset tracking, smart metering, industrial monitoring, or remote telemetry - Experience with RAKwireless, MileSight, Dragino, or similar hardware To apply, please include: - A brief summary of your IoT development experience - Specific LoRaWAN projects you have worked on - Cellular IoT modules or modems you have used - Cloud platforms, network servers, or protocols you are familiar with - Examples of similar projects, code samples, or architecture descriptions if available One challenge is giving you devices to test, so you need to be able to have international devices shipped to you.
