Power Automate Desktop / AutoIT / Python RPA Developer Needed for Desktop Automation Builds

I am looking for a hands-on automation developer to help build, adapt, and debug business automations. I already have the process designed and partly built. I am not looking for a consultant to redesign the workflow. I need someone practical who can take clear instructions, screenshots, existing scripts, and working examples, then implement and test the required changes. The current work involves automating invoice and stock processing workflows using Power Automate Desktop, AutoIT, Python, Excel templates, and some API/AI-assisted data extraction. We already have a working automation for one process, and now need to adapt and extend it for similar processes. The work involves desktop UI automation against legacy software, so the right person must be comfortable dealing with old systems where clicks, tabs, selectors, window focus, delays, and validation checks matter. Main Responsibilities You will help with: Building and updating Power Automate Desktop flows Editing and debugging AutoIT scripts Handling legacy Windows desktop application automation Working with UI selectors, window titles, controls, buttons, tabs, and field validation Adding delays, retries, and fallback logic where needed Updating scripts based on process-specific logic Reading values from Excel/CSV templates Supporting Python helper scripts for extraction and data processing Using regex to extract values from invoice text/PDFs Handling PDF invoice data extraction Passing variables between PAD, AutoIT, and Python Creating or improving logging and error handling Helping make the automation stable enough to run with minimal manual intervention Current Technology Stack The work includes: Power Automate Desktop AutoIT Python Excel / CSV processing Regex Windows desktop automation PDF/invoice data extraction Basic API calls AI-assisted validation/extraction where useful Email/mailbox-triggered processing Legacy desktop business software
