React JS Developer

Emergency University is an established technology company dedicated to improving public safety and emergency preparedness through innovative web-based education and communication solutions. We are looking for an experienced ReactJS developer to join our team and help evolve our web platform. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, solving technical challenges, and contributing to products that make a real-world impact. ## What You'll Be Doing You'll work directly with our leadership team to maintain, improve, and expand our existing website and web applications. Your responsibilities will include: * Developing new features using ReactJS and JavaScript * Maintaining and improving our existing website * Enhancing performance, security, and usability * Troubleshooting and resolving production issues * Recommending modern development practices and technologies * Supporting testing, deployment, and production releases * Working independently while communicating progress and recommendations ## Required Qualifications * 5+ years of professional web development experience * Strong expertise with ReactJS * Advanced JavaScript skills * HTML5 and CSS3 * Experience building and maintaining production websites * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities ## Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: * Microsoft IIS * ASP / ASP.NET * SQL Server * T-SQL * Stored Procedures * Windows Server Administration * Legacy application modernization * API integration ## Nice to Have * Git or other version control systems * Website optimization and security best practices * Experience working with Microsoft technology stacks * Experience in healthcare, education, emergency management, or public safety applications ## Contract Details * Remote * Independent Contractor * 20–40 hours per week * Flexible schedule * Long-term engagement for the right candidate ## To Apply Please include: 1.
