About the Project:
Our client is a leading Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) company developing AI-powered solutions for lung cancer detection, diagnostics, and therapy for the US and European healthcare markets. They are expanding their engineering team to accelerate their product roadmap and are
looking for experienced engineers with a strong medical technology background.
Required Tech Stack:
● Scala
● Python
● TypeScript
● Microsoft Azure
● AI/ML applications
● DICOM integration
● HL7 integration (required)
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable healthcare software solutions.
● Build and enhance AI-driven medical applications.
● Develop integrations using HL7 and DICOM standards.
● Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product teams, and healthcare specialists.
● Ensure software meets performance, security, and regulatory requirements.
● Contribute to cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure.
Required Qualifications
● 4+ years of professional software development experience.
● Strong proficiency in Scala, Python, and TypeScript.
● Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
● Proven experience working in the MedTech/HealthTech industry.
● Strong knowledge of HL7 integration (mandatory).
● Experience with DICOM imaging standards.
● Exposure to AI/ML-based healthcare applications is highly preferred.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote, international team.
Nice to Have:
● Experience working on Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products.
● Familiarity with FDA, MDR, or IEC 62304 regulated environments.
● Experience supporting healthcare solutions in the US or European markets.
