Senior Ai Developer

We're looking for a Senior AI Developer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems — not prototypes. This role involves building AI agents, RAG pipelines, and automation workflows that integrate with real business data and APIs. What you'll work on: - Design and build AI agents using LangChain/LangGraph (or similar frameworks) that reason, take actions, and call external tools/APIs - Build and optimize RAG systems for document search, knowledge base QA, and support automation - Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) into existing backend systems - Build/maintain APIs and backend services (Python — FastAPI/Django preferred) - Set up workflow automation (n8n, custom scripts, webhooks) - Deploy and monitor systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) - Write clean, documented, maintainable code with proper testing Requirements: - 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years specifically in AI/LLM systems - Strong hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or comparable agent frameworks - Proven experience building RAG systems (vector DBs like Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, etc.) - Solid Python backend skills (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) - Experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs or open-source LLM deployment - Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS preferred) and CI/CD basics - Strong communication skills — must be able to explain technical decisions clearly - Portfolio or GitHub showing real production AI work (not just tutorials/demos) Nice to have: - Experience with vector databases and embedding pipelines - Frontend skills (React/Next.js) for full-stack delivery - Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures - Prior Upwork Top Rated / Top Rated Plus status How to apply: Please include a short summary of a similar AI agent/RAG project you've shipped to production, your preferred tech stack and why, and your availability (hours/week) and timezone overlap.
