Overview Get Well Clinic is a multi-location Texas healthcare company specializing in family medicine, weight loss, telemedicine, hormone therapy, and preventive care. Our primary website (getwellclinic.com) has already been redesigned and deployed on Next.js and Vercel. We are looking for an experienced developer to help us evolve the platform into a scalable healthcare marketing website with strong SEO, AI-search visibility, and a content management system that can be maintained by non-technical staff. This is not a simple WordPress project. We are seeking a developer who understands modern web architecture, technical SEO, performance optimization, and headless CMS workflows. Current Environment - Next.js (App Router) - Vercel Hosting - GitHub Repository - Existing production website already live - Future plans include patient tools, calculators, educational content, and AI-assisted experiences Project Goals Phase 1 - Evaluate current website architecture - Audit performance, SEO, indexing, schema, and Core Web Vitals - Recommend whether current static architecture should remain or be converted to a CMS-driven model - Identify opportunities to improve local SEO and AI-search visibility Phase 2 (if recommended) - Implement Sanity CMS or alternative headless CMS - Allow staff to edit: Services, Pricing, Locations, FAQs, Blog articles, Announcements, Provider content - Maintain existing design and branding - Create content publishing workflow - Implement draft preview functionality Phase 3 - Technical SEO optimization - Schema.org implementation (Local business schema, Physician/provider schema, FAQ schema, Article schema) - Sitemap optimization - Metadata management - Canonical management - AI-search optimization for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews Important Healthcare Requirements - No PHI may be stored within the CMS - No patient data may be stored on the marketing website - Existing patient actions should continue routing externally to approved systems - Website must remain HIPAA-conscious in design and architecture Ideal Candidate You have experience with: Next.js, Vercel, Sanity, Technical SEO, Local SEO, Schema markup, Core Web Vitals, Healthcare websites, and Multi-location businesses.
