About the Role: We are seeking a Senior WordPress Engineer with hands-on experience using Cline or similar Autonomous AI Coding tools. This is a remote, full-time role suited for a seasoned developer passionate about delivering high-quality solutions using modern WordPress practices. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business development to scope projects Provide accurate, competitive time estimates Work with PMs to build detailed execution plans with clear timelines Build and deliver clean, performant, WCAG 2.2-compliant code Join client calls for project scoping, clarification, or training Provide regular project updates and troubleshoot advanced issues Must-Have Skills & Experience: 5+ years working directly with clients Strong verbal communication (American accent) Deep full-stack WordPress development experience Theme development using Underscores Custom Gutenberg blocks development Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills Experience building and consuming APIs Expertise in page speed optimization Skilled in Cline or similar Autonomous AI Coding tools Adherence to WordPress coding best practices Compliant with PHPCS and PCP standards Must follow WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidelines Completed work must align with Core Web Vitals (CWV) Strong experience with GitHub and understanding of Gitflow Deep customization experience with plugins like: WooCommerce ACF Elementor EDD Divi Dokan And more Work Hours: Must be available 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time) If you’re passionate about WordPress development and looking for a long-term job, this role is for you.
