Website Developer Needed — Short-Term Rental - Property Direct Booking Site (Hostaway) We operate a professionally styled short-term rental in Crested Butte, Colorado, and include a direct booking model — guests book with us directly as well as all applicable OTA's such as Airbnb, Vrbo and booking.com. We're looking for an experienced web developer to design and build a premium direct booking website for the property on the Hostaway website builder platform to push more traffic to our direct booking website. We have a detailed weclome packet (a PDF) that can be utilized to generate copy for the website. We also have professional photos that were used in the welcome packet that can be provided separately so the high quality images can be dropped right into the website builder. We can help comment on the copy once it is provided as a draft. What we need built A focused, single-property site with the following pages: — Homepage with hero, availability/booking search, trust section, property highlights, "things to do" area section, and guest reviews — Property page with full photo gallery, description, amenities, booking widget, and reviews — Crested Butte area / things-to-do landing page (SEO-focused: skiing, summer trails, dining, events) — About / our story page — FAQ page with live search bar and accordion items — Blog/article template (first post provided) — Privacy policy page — Contact / inquiry page All page copy has been written and is provided to you. You do not need to write or source any content. Technical requirements The site must be built on Hostaway's website builder. You must have direct experience with the Hostaway platform or similar — please do not apply if you haven't worked with it before. Beyond the Hostaway build, you'll need to implement: — VacationRental JSON-LD schema markup on the property page — FAQPage schema on the FAQ page — LocalBusiness schema on the homepage — Custom meta titles and descriptions on every page — Clean, keyword-based URL slugs — XML sitemap and Google Search Console setup — Google Analytics 4 integration — Page speed optimization (target: 80+ mobile on PageSpeed Insights) — Mobile-first responsive design across all pages Design direction The Hostaway backend is already set up and live — only UI work is needed. The design expectation is modern, clean, and premium, in line with comparable sites such as Kasa.com and Blueground.com. What we're looking for We need someone who has built on Hostaway's website builder or a similar platform before and can tell us upfront what is and isn't achievable within the platform. We'd rather know the limitations early than discover them mid-build. Ideal candidates will have a portfolio of short-term rental or hospitality websites, experience with SEO structured data implementation, and strong attention to design detail.
