Web Developer for Internal App

We're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to help us build and maintain an internal business platform used by our operations team. This is not a customer-facing product. The application will streamline internal workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and provide dashboards and reporting for different departments. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving real business problems and building reliable software that people use every day. This project has long-term potential, with additional modules planned after the initial release. Responsibilities - Develop new features for our internal web application - Collaborate to design scalable and maintainable architecture - Build responsive user interfaces using React - Develop RESTful APIs and backend services - Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases - Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code - Participate in code reviews and technical discussions - Troubleshoot bugs and improve application performance - Suggest better technical approaches when appropriate Preferred Tech Stack Frontend - React - TypeScript - Tailwind CSS or Material UI Backend - Ruby on Rails or Node.js (NestJS preferred) Database - PostgreSQL - Redis Infrastructure - Docker - AWS - GitHub Actions - CI/CD Nice to Have - Experience building internal business tools - Background job processing - Authentication and authorization - Reporting dashboards - File import/export - Third-party API integrations - AI integration using OpenAI or similar services Requirements - 4+ years of professional software development experience - Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills - Experience with React - Experience with Ruby on Rails or Node.js - Good understanding of REST APIs and relational databases - Experience with Git and collaborative development - Strong problem-solving skills - Good written and spoken English
