Web Scraper Needed (Ethical Scraping Only)

Description: We need a freelancer to collect publicly available eviction case data (filings and dispositions) from county court record websites. Scope: -Scrape public eviction case records -Deliver clean, structured output (CSV or similar) with consistent formatting across sources -Provide the script and brief documentation so the process can be re-run or handed off later Hard requirements (non-negotiable): -Scrape responsibly: rate-limit requests, run during off-peak hours, and never do anything that could burden or disrupt the site or its normal operation -Respect robots.txt and site terms of service -No circumventing anti-scraping measures of any kind: no CAPTCHA solving, no rotating proxies or IP evasion, no bypassing login walls or paywalls. If a site blocks automated access, we stop and I pursue the data another way -Public data only, collected as a normal user could view it Ideal candidate: -Experience with Python (requests, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium) -Prior work with court records or government data portals a plus -Comfortable documenting methods clearly, since this supports academic research and the collection process needs to be defensible
