Project Overview:
CensysTech is a BVLOS drone inspection company focused on utility infrastructure. We're looking for an experienced web designer/developer to design our new company website (currently on WordPress) with a modern, interactive user experience without losing our existing SEO performance.
Note: This is a full-site redesign covering site architecture, navigation, visual design, and technical SEO migration. We have detailed scope, content, and reference sites ready to share upon hire.
Reference sites for design direction:
Navigation style we like: wingtra.com
Overall site feel we like: bostondynamics.com
Objective:
Redesign the CensysTech website to improve design and conversions and create an interactive user experience, while fully preserving SEO authority (rankings, indexed URLs, organic traffic) through the migration.
Scope of Work:
1. SEO-Safe Migration:
Build a full URL mapping/redirect strategy: keep URLs unchanged where possible; 301 redirect any changed URLs; redirect deleted pages to the closest relevant page
Preserve all on-page SEO elements during redesign: title tags, meta descriptions, header structure (H1–H3), image alt text, schema markup
2. Site Architecture & Navigation:
Improve UX while maintaining SEO clarity
Keep important pages within 1–2 clicks of the homepage
Build strong internal linking from blog through to all service and product pages
3. Performance & Technical SEO
Improve page speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals
Optimize images and code
Validate results with Google PageSpeed Insights
4. Site Sections to Build:
