We are a creative agency looking for a strong WordPress developer to support ongoing landing page builds, WordPress/Elementor development, custom plugin work, and rapid prototyping of new product and service ideas.
This is not a full-time role, but we have recurring project work for the right person. Once you are part of our trusted bench, you will not need to bid on every individual job. We prefer long-term working relationships with reliable specialists who can jump in when projects are ready.
Important: This Is Not Just an Elementor Page Builder Role
We do use Elementor and need someone who can build polished, responsive landing pages quickly.
But we also need a proper WordPress developer who can build custom functionality when existing plugins are not enough.
You should be comfortable creating custom solutions in WordPress, including plugins, backend utilities, custom front-end interfaces, database-driven features, checkout-related tools, and integrations with services such as Stripe.
//What You’ll Be Working On
Initial and ongoing projects may include:
Building fast, polished landing pages in WordPress using Elementor
Migrating pages or full sites from Framer to WordPress/Elementor
Creating custom WordPress plugins for specific business needs
Building front-end configurators and selection tools
Creating custom checkout or cart-building experiences
Developing interfaces where users can choose product/service options visually
Building tools that write to and read from the WordPress database
Creating custom post types, fields, templates, and admin utilities
Integrating with Stripe, WooCommerce, forms, CRMs, or other third-party tools
Rapidly prototyping landing pages, service tests, and productized offers
Working from briefs, copy docs, brand direction, Figma files, screenshots, or art direction
One example of the type of custom work we may need: a visual interface where a customer can choose ad sizes inside a mailer, select add-ons, configure their order, and proceed through a checkout/cart process. Sometimes an existing plugin may handle part of this. Other times, we need someone who can build the exact experience we have in mind.
//Required Skills
You should have strong experience with:
WordPress development
Elementor / Elementor Pro
PHP
JavaScript
HTML/CSS
Custom WordPress plugin development
Custom post types and custom fields
WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and theme/plugin architecture
Responsive front-end development
WordPress database structure and safe database interactions
WooCommerce or custom cart/checkout workflows
Stripe or similar payment integrations
Debugging, testing, and documenting your work
Strong written English communication
//AI Workflow Requirement
We are specifically looking for someone with a strong, transparent AI-assisted workflow.
You should be able to use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Figma AI, Relume, Midjourney, or equivalent tools to move faster — but you must still understand the code and be able to explain your decisions.
//We want someone who can use AI to:
Rapidly prototype page structures and UI ideas
Speed up first-pass landing page builds
Assist with PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and plugin development
Generate and test implementation ideas
Troubleshoot faster
Document work clearly
Improve speed without creating messy, fragile, or unmaintainable code
We do not want someone who blindly pastes AI-generated code into WordPress. We want someone who uses AI intelligently and can explain what they built.
//Design + Development Expectations
You do not need to be a senior brand designer, but you should have good visual judgment.
You should be able to take direction from an art director and translate it into clean, polished, responsive web experiences. You should understand spacing, hierarchy, typography, mobile layouts, and how to make a page feel professional.
Ideal Candidate
//The right person is:
A real WordPress developer, not only a page builder

Comfortable with custom functionality
Good at rapid prototyping
Able to think through user experience and technical implementation
Clear in communication
Comfortable asking smart questions when something is unclear
