WordPress Website Maintenance

Built Environment Collective (BEC Studio) is seeking a reliable WordPress freelancer for ongoing website maintenance and content updates. This is not a full rebuild — we are looking for a trusted support partner we can engage on a casual, ad hoc basis as updates arise over time. Current Website Stack • WordPress • PHP / MySQL • LiteSpeed • Google Tag Manager / Analytics • jQuery-based components Typical Tasks • Uploading new project pages and news / articles • Adding and organising new project categories • Creating new pages and sections (e.g. new sector pages) • General content and layout updates • Plugin / theme updates and maintenance • Basic troubleshooting and ensuring site stability • Minor styling or responsive fixes where needed What We're Looking For • Strong WordPress experience • Comfortable working within existing themes and builds — not starting from scratch • Good eye for clean, corporate, and professional layouts • Responsive and easy to communicate with • Able to work independently from written briefs • Bonus: experience with architecture, engineering, construction, or design-industry websites Engagement Setup Engagement Type Ongoing support Assignment Work assigned as needed Hours Flexible Turnaround Quick turnaround preferred for smaller requests How to Apply When applying, please include the following: • Relevant WordPress sites you currently maintain • Your hourly rate • Your timezone and location • Typical turnaround time for small updates • Any experience with corporate or professional services websites
