TypeScript Developer for Web-Based Trading Terminal

Description: We're building a full-featured web-based trading terminal from the ground up. This is a third-party platform that connects to exchanges and brokers for both crypto and stocks — executing trades on top of their infrastructure. Not just charts — the entire platform: dashboards, trade execution, position management, analytics, alerts, and more. Tech stack: • TypeScript (strict typing, not loose JS) • React / Next.js • Node.js backend • WebSockets for real-time data streaming • REST/WebSocket APIs for exchange/broker connectivity What you'll work on: • Real-time charting with custom indicators (translating PineScript logic to TypeScript) • L1/L2 market data interpretation (order book depth, bid/ask, delta, imbalances) • Trade execution system (order placement, modifications, cancellations) • Position and account management dashboards • P&L tracking and trade analytics • Alert system and notifications • Exchange/broker API integrations (market data + execution) • AI-powered features (pattern recognition, trade analysis, intelligent alerts) • User settings, layouts, and workspace management • Performance optimization across the entire platform You're a good fit if: • You've built trading platforms, broker dashboards, or fintech applications before • Experience working with L1/L2 market data (order book, depth of market, tape) • You understand the full trading workflow (orders, positions, fills, margin, etc.) • Experience with exchange/broker APIs for both data and execution • Comfortable building complex, stateful applications with lots of moving parts • You write clean, maintainable TypeScript • You can own features end-to-end, not just take tickets Please include in your application: • Links to similar projects (trading terminals, broker platforms, fintech dashboards) • Experience with exchange/broker API integrations • Any experience with order book data or depth of market visualization • How you'd architect a real-time trading dashboard that handles multiple data streams Not looking for generalists.
