Phase 1 Create a simulation tool that can generate and analyze large numbers of Omaha poker hands. The tool should:
Start with a standard 52 card deck
Randomly deal 8 player hands to player #s 1 through 8
Each player receives exactly 4 unique hole cards
Deal 5 community cards
Determine each player's best final hand using exactly 2 hole cards and three community cards
Identify the winning player for each hand
This process should be repeatable to do 10s of thousands of times
The output would be at least:
Player one through player 8 hole cards
Community Board cards
Best 5 card hand for each player
Phase two of the project will be a Player behavior simulation engine. With objective to model how different playing styles perform over a large sample of hands. Each player will be assigned A configurable set of behavioral parameters that determine how they make decisions to route a hand and have these effect win rates.
