Hello,
I'm a French mathematics teacher and YouTuber creating educational videos for high school students.
If you had to build a workflow to generate 100 educational math figures over the next year, how would you do it? Please describe your approach in a few sentences.
I'm looking for someone experienced with mathematical visualization (GeoGebra, Manim, TikZ, Python, SVG, AI-assisted workflows, or similar tools).
This is primarily a consulting mission. I'm looking for the right workflow, not for someone to manually draw dozens of figures.
My goal is to create dozens of mathematical graphs and geometric figures over the next few years while keeping a consistent visual style and minimizing the time required to produce them.
What I need
The priority is to create graphs such as:
functions
tangents
secants
derivatives
convexity
exponentials
logarithms
sequences
coordinate systems
For example, I'd like to be able to ask an AI something like:
"Generate a polynomial with one horizontal tangent, two integer slopes and one fractional slope, with well-spaced points and a clean educational layout."
without having to manually invent the function or spend time adjusting everything in GeoGebra.
Later, I will also need geometric figures such as:
triangles
circles
vectors
probability trees
cubes
3D geometry
My objectives
Most figures should be parameterized. For example, I should be able to change the function, the tangent point, the colors, or the coordinates without having to redraw everything from scratch.
The workflow should be:
simple
fast
inexpensive
reusable
parameterized
AI-friendly (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
easy to modify later
able to keep a consistent visual identity across my YouTube channel
I'm not looking for the most powerful or sophisticated solution.
I'm looking for the solution that minimizes the total amount of work over the next several years.
Deliverables
The first mission is a 60 to 90-minute consulting session.
During this session, I'd like us to discuss and compare the available approaches.
At the end of the consultation, I'd like to receive:
your recommended workflow;
the tools you would use (GeoGebra, Manim, TikZ, Python, SVG, AI, etc.);
the pros and cons of each option;
what should be automated and what should remain manual;
a suggested workflow from idea → final figure;
one simple concrete example showing how you would create a graph for a YouTube math lesson.
If we find a good solution together, there will likely be many follow-up missions.
Budget
Fixed price: $75–100
This first mission is mainly to benefit from your expertise and identify the best long-term workflow.
When applying
Please tell me:
which tools you recommend;
why you recommend them;
whether you've worked on mathematical graphics or educational content before;
and include a few relevant examples if possible.
I'm happy to choose a completely different workflow than the one I currently have in mind if you believe it will save significant time in the long run.
ps: please find attached some examples from another maths youtuber (but the videos are 10 years old)
