Measurement & attribution engineer for a backend-first, warehouse-centric stack — not a reporting or dashboard role. We're a serverless LLM inference startup (Series A — AMD Ventures, Airbus Ventures) with a developer audience. Our events land in BigQuery, joined on user_id, and are visualised in PostHog and Looker Studio. We have two tracking gaps to close: Client-side tracking captures far fewer users than our database (our source of truth) — roughly 25% short on purchases, closer to half on signups. Likely a mix of ad blockers, consent (CookieHub), our CSP, and Nuxt SPA event timing. About 75% of signups land as "direct / none" or "accounts.google.com / referral", so we can't reliably attribute most users to a channel. We already stitch a pseudo_user_id to user_id at signup; we need that bridge hardened — so first-touch source survives the Google OAuth redirect and our Nuxt + Webflow domains — and our backend attribution made as complete as possible. Stack: Nuxt, Webflow, BigQuery, PostHog, GA4 / GTM (incl. server-side), CookieHub, Google OAuth. Full scope, success criteria, and four screening questions are in the attached brief — please address the screening questions in your proposal.
