React Native Developer — Must Use Cursor or Claude Code

Description: I’m looking for a React Native / TypeScript developer to help fix, polish, and improve an existing mobile application. My budget is $5/hr The app is already built and close to launch. This is not a “start from scratch” project. I need someone who can quickly understand an existing codebase, follow tickets, make focused fixes, test their work, and commit changes cleanly. This role is best for a developer who actively uses AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or similar tools to move faster and improve implementation quality. I do not want a developer who works only in a slow, old-school/manual way. The expectation is that you can use AI tools to help with code exploration, debugging, API wiring, UI fixes, testing, and refactoring. What You’ll Work On - React Native frontend fixes - TypeScript cleanup and debugging - API wiring to existing backend endpoints - UI state fixes - Mobile app testing - Small feature adjustments - Screen polish and layout fixes - Fixing broken or incomplete app flows - Improving video/player smoothness where needed - Working ticket by ticket Important Requirements You must be able to: - Use AI-assisted coding tools effectively - Read an existing codebase quickly - Follow ticket scope without expanding the task unnecessarily - Ask clear, specific questions only when truly blocked - Communicate in clear English - Provide estimates before starting work - Work within approved time limits - Commit each ticket separately - Include the ticket number and ticket name in the commit title - Test your work before saying it is complete - Send clear updates with completed work, blockers, and next steps
