Project Overview: We manage a network of 10 WordPress business sites across a GoDaddy Virtual Private Server (VPS) running a Linux environment (Apache/Nginx mix). Following recent site updates, our server response time (TTFB) has spiked dangerously above 1000ms. We are experiencing high resource utilization and database bottlenecks. We need a seasoned systems administrator to conduct a comprehensive server audit, optimize resource allocation, and drastically reduce our server response times. Core Responsibilities: -Server Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve the root cause of the greater than 1000ms server response time (TTFB). -WHM/cPanel Optimization: Review Apache/Nginx configurations, tweak PHP-FPM settings, adjust memory limits, and optimize OPcache/Object caching. -MySQL Database Optimization: Analyze and optimize database queries, fix indexing issues, and clear out overhead/bloat causing lag across the 10 WordPress databases. -Log Analysis: Review server error logs, access logs, and slow-query logs to identify hidden conflicts or loops straining the CPU/RAM. -Advanced Redirect Mapping: Implement clean, lightweight, bulk 301 redirect strategies (preferably at the server level via .htaccess or httpd.conf) to resolve 404s without creating redirect loops or adding PHP/plugin bloat. Required Qualifications: -Expert-level experience with Linux server administration (CentOS/AlmaLinux/Ubuntu). -Deep, hands-on mastery of cPanel/WHM backend management. -Proven track record of optimizing Apache, Nginx, and PHP-FPM configurations for high-traffic WordPress environments. -Strong background in MySQL/MariaDB database tuning. -Must understand how server performance directly impacts Core Web Vitals (specifically LCP and INP). To Apply: Please start your proposal with the word "SYSTEM" so I know you have read this carefully. Briefly detail a time you successfully dropped a server's TTFB from over 1000ms down to a healthy range (under 200ms).
