We're redesigning the frontend of an existing multi-vendor marketplace platform. The stack includes Next.js (App Router), Prisma, Redux Toolkit, and Tailwind. We need a frontend developer to enhance the user interface and ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with responsive design and be able to work independently to deliver high-quality results.
What We Need
- Frontend redesign/rebuild within an existing Next.js App Router codebase
- Integration with existing Prisma schema and data layer (multi-vendor data structures - products, vendors, orders, etc.)
- State management using Redux Toolkit
- Styling and responsive design with Tailwind CSS
- Close collaboration on UX decisions specific to marketplace flows (vendor storefronts, product browsing/filtering, checkout, possibly vendor dashboards)
Required Experience
- Demonstrable production experience with Next.js App Router specifically (not just Pages Router or generic React)
- Real-world use of Prisma as an ORM in a production app - comfortable with schema design, relations, and querying within server components/route handlers
- Redux Toolkit in a real shipped product
- Tailwind CSS
- Prior work on e-commerce or multi-vendor marketplace builds is strongly preferred
Please Include in Your Proposal
1. Links to live sites you personally built or substantially contributed to, ideally e-commerce or multi-vendor marketplace platforms - not just design mockups or GitHub repos with no live deployment
2. A brief note on your specific role on each project (solo build vs. team contribution, and which parts were yours)
3. Confirmation of hands-on App Router + Prisma experience, with a short example of a real problem you solved using that combo
4. Your availability and estimated timeline for a project of this scope
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-tenant data isolation patterns
- Experience with payment/payout flows (Stripe Connect or similar) if vendor payouts are part of scope
- Comfort working from existing design files or a partial design system
