WordPress Developer Needed to Build Custom Post Type Portfolio

I'm a photographer and right now all my work just lives in a regular blog-style gallery, which makes it impossible to organize by shoot type. I want a proper "Projects" custom post type set up — separate from regular blog posts — with its own fields for things like client name, shoot category (wedding, portrait, event), and a featured image gallery per entry. Once that's set up, I need an archive page that displays these as a filterable grid by category, plus individual project pages that show the full photo set. I'm not picky about which method you use to build the custom post type (plugin like CPT UI, or hand-coded in functions. php, whatever you're most comfortable with and think will hold up long-term) but I do care that it's set up cleanly since I plan to add dozens more entries over time and don't want this breaking as the site grows. Happy to share reference sites if that helps explain the layout I'm after.
