I have a live WordPress website for a local services business that I'm replacing with a newly built static HTML site. The new site is finished and ready to deploy. This job is purely the careful execution of swapping it in on my existing Hostinger hosting, without losing any of the SEO rankings the current site has built up.
Everything is prepared for you: the complete site files, a tested redirect file, and a detailed step-by-step runbook. The domain and DNS already live on Hostinger, so there are no DNS or nameserver changes. It's a file swap in the public_html folder plus redirects. I need someone experienced and methodical, because this is a live, revenue-earning, well-ranked site, so it must be backed up and staged first.
What's involved
Back up the current WordPress site (files and database) in hPanel
Deploy the provided static bundle to a staging subdomain first, and test pages and redirects
Swap into public_html: remove the old WordPress files, upload the static bundle so index.html is at the root
Install the provided .htaccess file (301 redirects, plus force HTTPS and non-www)
Clear the LiteSpeed cache and confirm SSL
Verify every redirect returns a single clean 301 (I'll provide test URLs)
Submit the new sitemap in Google Search Console (already verified on the domain)
Keep a rollback ready
What you'll be given
The complete static site bundle (HTML, images, sitemap, robots file)
A ready, tested .htaccess redirect file
A step-by-step migration runbook
hPanel access at the start of the job
You must have
Hands-on Hostinger hPanel and File Manager experience
Done WordPress-to-static (or similar) site migrations before
Strong with .htaccess, LiteSpeed/Apache and 301 redirects
SEO-aware: you understand preserving rankings, link equity and Search Console during a migration
A careful, staged, backup-first approach
Scope
Small, well-defined task. Roughly an hour of actual work for someone who has done this before. Best posted as fixed-price. No design or development work; the files are final.
Please answer when you apply
Have you migrated a live WordPress site to static HTML on Hostinger before? Briefly describe one.
How do you make sure 301 redirects preserve SEO in a CMS-to-static move?
How would you stage the deploy and roll back so the live site never goes dark?
