Data Engineer — Cloud Pipelines, BI, AI-Integrated Stacks (Ongoing)

We're a data engineering and analytics consultancy serving multi-location and portfolio operators. We work across cloud data platforms, BI tooling, and increasingly AI-integrated data workflows. We need a strong data engineer who can own delivery on client engagements independently — building and maintaining pipelines, data models, and reporting infrastructure without heavy oversight. This is an ongoing support role. If you're reliable and strong technically, there's consistent work here. What you'll work on: Cloud data pipeline builds and maintenance (BigQuery, Azure, Postgres) BI development — Looker, Power BI, or equivalent Data modeling and warehouse design AI-integrated data workflows — LLM APIs, structured output, document generation Ad hoc delivery tasks across active client engagements What we need: Strong SQL and cloud data platform experience BI tool proficiency — at least one platform at a production level Comfortable in AI-adjacent stacks (LLM APIs, prompt pipelines, or similar) Delivers on deadline without being managed closely Flags blockers within 24 hours, not after a week of silence Async-friendly with US Central time zone overlap Engagement: Part-time ongoing, 15–25 hrs/week.
