Design-minded Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript) to redesign a SaaS platform

I'm looking for a design-minded frontend engineer to lead a complete redesign of our existing web application - a B2B SaaS platform for market research. This is both design and build: you'll rethink the visual language, layout and user flows, then implement them yourself in clean, typed, tested React code. To be clear on scope: I don't want a reskin. I want a genuine paradigm shift - new spatial structure, new hierarchy, new flows - not the same screens with different colors. At the same time, we're not starting from a blank page: I already have a design foundation (design tokens, typography, product principles) that will serve as your starting brief. Your job is to take it and push it somewhere bold and coherent. The work is frontend-only. My backend is a stable, well-documented REST API (OpenAPI/Swagger) that you consume - you won't write any server code. You'll work in an isolated frontend repository against a live staging environment, so you can see your changes running against real data from day one. My stack * React 18 + TypeScript (strict mode) * Vite build tooling * Tailwind CSS * TanStack Query (React Query) for server state, REST APIs via Axios * Data visualization (the product is chart-heavy) * Internationalization - the UI ships in two languages How we work Git via Pull Requests: small, reviewable branches, clear descriptions, responsive to code review. Co-located unit tests for every component and change. Remote and async. I value clean typed code, thoughtful design decisions, and clear communication over raw speed. Nice to have: design systems experience, motion/interaction design, and Italian (our UI copy and code comments are in Italian - not required, but a real plus).
